Sales & Admin Assistant (15 -18K negotiable)
 
The Clothing Room is well recognised as supplying corporate branded clothing predominantly within the marine industry.
All Sales, Embroidery, Screen-printing and design is carried out in our offices in Shamrock Quay, Southampton. Accountable to the Managing Director.
 
ADMIN
 
To help assist the day to day running in the office Order processing – use of SAGE Dealing with enquiries by email and phone. IT Literacy – good use of Excel, word, outlook.
 

Thoroughness and attention to detail.

 
Understanding all company products available.
 
SALES
 

Experience of direct customer sales essential.

 
Marine sales experience useful.
 

Great customer service skills.

 
Ability to manage and build relationships with clients. Managing existing customer accounts to ensure renewals and increased orders. Generating contacts with new customers through telephone, letters and enquiries. Follow up calls – making sure customer has received quote next day Closing orders.
 
Possible representation of the company at trade shows. Keeping an eye on costs – maximising margins.
 
Aiming to reach and exceed targets as part of the sales team.
 
THE INDIVIDUAL
 
Outgoing personality Friendly telephone manner but to the point Excellent communication skills – liaising with production to check on the progress of jobs. Highly motivated Good time Management Works well under pressure.
 
Organised and efficient
 
First Aider useful
 
Car owner with full driving license
 
Office Hours – 8.30 – 5.30   Potential to move into higher paid sales role.

PRODUCTION STAFF (Permanent & Hourly staff required)
 
Hourly rate £5.60 - £6.50 per hour
 
A great opportunity to become part of the production team in a buzzing embroidery and screen-printing department.
 
Accountable to the Production Supervisor & the Directors of TCR
 

General Duties

Heat-pressing (Training given)

Folding

Bagging

Machine minding
Heat-press

Keep production clean & tidy

Hours are flexible and negotiable with your supervisor the prior week.

 
Office hours are generally 8.30-5.30 but occasionally you may be required to work a shift system that may fall outside these hours.
 
This role suits someone with a keen interest in textile or design.
 

TCR is also open to university students that can return in the summer month on a casual basis.
